Ten Tips for a Great Trip
I. Remember you left home to explore new horizons, so do not expect
everything to be as it is at home.
II. Remember not to take anything too seriously, for a carefree mind is the beginning
of a fine vacation.
III. Remember to make every effort not to allow other tourists get on your nerves
since you have paid good money to have a good time.
IV. Remember to keep your passport with you at all times, for a person without
a passport is a person without a country.
V. Remember to take only half the clothes you will need, and twice the amount
of money.
VI. Remember, if we were expected to stay in one place, we would have been created
with roots.
VII. Remember if you worry you will experience no pleasure. Few things are ever
fatal.
VIII. Remember not to judge the people of a country by the one person with whom
you have had trouble.
IX. Remember not to be too obviously American. When in Rome, do somewhat as the
Romans do.
X. Remember, you are a guest in every land, and when you treat your host with
respect you will be treated with respect.
